Manifestation has become a trending topic across my TikTok feed lately. But my first encounter with the concept dates back to my middle school days when I skeptically watched Oprah Winfrey host a panel discussion featuring authors and speakers on the subject. Back then, the idea of manifesting seemed like wishful thinking to me—just imagining something and expecting it to appear magically.

As a girl growing up in Hialeah, Florida, in an environment rife with chaos and the constant threat of abuse, the notion of envisioning a life filled with love, security, and self-worth felt utterly out of reach. It wasn't until adulthood that I began to explore spirituality more deeply. That's when the principles of visualization, embodying the feeling of already having what I desired, practicing gratitude, and the science behind manifestation started to resonate with me.

After a few years of trial and error, of learning to transmute limiting beliefs and practicing daily, I feel like a powerful manifestor. I still do vision boards each year, and more often than not, I manifest what I dream of, and most times, those realizations are far greater than what I imagined. Mark 11:23-24: I assure you that whoever tells this hill to get up and throw itself in the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. For this reason, I tell you: When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.

Manifestation is a process that involves aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions with your desires to bring them into reality. Here are some steps to help you manifest effectively:

  1. Clarify Your Desires: Start by clearly defining what you want to manifest. Be specific about your goals, whether they relate to career, relationships, health, or personal growth.
  2. Set Intentions: Once you've identified your desires, set clear intentions for what you want to manifest. Write them down in the present tense as if they've already happened. For example, instead of saying, "I want to be successful," say, "I am successful in my career."
  3. Visualize: Take time each day to visualize yourself already experiencing your desires. Close your eyes and imagine the sights, sounds, and feelings associated with achieving your goals. Engage all your senses to make the visualization more vivid and real.
  4. Embody the Feeling: Along with visualization, focus on feeling the emotions of having your desires fulfilled. Whether it's joy, gratitude, or confidence, cultivate those emotions within yourself as if your desires have already manifested.
  5. Practice Gratitude: Express gratitude for what you already have and for the manifestations that are on their way. Gratitude helps shift your mindset from lack to abundance, making you more receptive to receiving.
  6. Take Inspired Action: Manifestation isn't just about wishful thinking; it also requires taking action toward your goals. Pay attention to any intuitive nudges or opportunities that come your way, and take inspired action aligned with your intentions.
  7. Release Attachment: While it's important to be clear about your desires, avoid becoming overly attached to specific outcomes. Trust that the universe has a plan for you, and remain open to different possibilities and paths to manifestation.
  8. Stay Positive and Persistent: Maintain a positive mindset throughout the manifestation process, even when facing challenges or setbacks. Trust in the power of your intentions and continue to affirm your beliefs in your ability to manifest your desires.

By following these steps and incorporating them into your daily practice, you can harness the power of manifestation to create the life you desire. Remember, consistency, faith, and alignment are key components of successful manifestation.
